While Eva-03 was being delivered to NERV
by air, it
was taken over by an Angel when the transport
fly
past the cloud and you see electricity came
out of it.
This was not discovered until its activation
test,
where it broke loose and destroyed the test
site.
Eva 03 was then declared the 13th Angel,
Bardiel is the
electricity that taken control of Eva 03.
All the EVAs set out
to destroy Bardiel, who easly took out Rei
and Asuka using
Eva 03. As Bardiel was about to destroy Eva
01, Gendou Ikari
ordered Eva 01's dummy plug activated. Eva
01 then brutally
went on to destroy Bardiel against Shinji's
will.
