Lilith wares a 7 eye mask simbolise the formation
of 3rd Impact. And
Lilith is the one who caused the 3rd Impact
after Rei merged inside its body.
Rei Ayanami is actually the soul of Lilith
and Eva Unit one is cloned from parts of it.
