The Eighth Angel - Of Embryos
Sandalphon was first discovered in
the heart of an active volcano in it's
embryotic form, and an attempt was made to
capture it. During the capture
attempt by Asuka, in Eva-02, the embryo hatched
into Sandalphon, and
the mission profile was changed from capture
to destroy.
Asuka subsequently destroyed Sandalphon by
using Eva-02's
diving suit's burst coolant pipe and stuffing
it into Sandalphon, freazing it to death.
