Neon Genesis Evangelion (Shinseiki Evangelion) is Anno Hideaki's greatest creation,
which caused a major impact to the Anime world. It began as a
TV-Series developed and found its way to the movies, the comic books,
games, albums and even live concerts were held in desperate
demands of millions of fans around the world.
The year is 2015, Mankind had suffered a disastrous fate when
being attacked by mysterious beings called the "Angels". Half of
earth's population vanished in a fatal flood caused by the first
angel attack. To save what is left of the world, a mysterious
agency called NERV is founded and begins to develop bio-mechanical
gaints called Evangelions to deal with the Angel threat.
Those Evangelions strangely enough can only be piloted by a hand-full of
teenagers each of whom were born exactly 9 months after the first angel's attack.
The fate of earth seems to have landed on those children, wether they
were chosen by biblical prophecy
or are just unexpected saviors. The whole story begins with our main
hero Shinji Ikari getting a fax from his dad saying they need him.
He goes to see his dad and ends up operating an eva. I would tell yall more but
